Course Description:
This is a course in visual arts which focuses on enabling students to understand the ELEMENTS OF ART. Students will also understand how art is created as a response to images, forms and experiences; to understand the relationships among works of art, individuals and societies in which they are created; to develop the ability to create visual images and the skills and sensitivity to apply aesthetic criteria to works of art; and to understand the health and safety rules of the art room.
